Overview

Provision of a Legal Services Panel (as and when required) for Eskom Group for up to five years. The panel is tiered into categories covering Administrative/Procurement, Banking/Tax/Finance, Commercial/Corporate, Construction, Energy/Renewable, Intellectual Property, Insurance, Mining, Regulatory, Criminal, and Pension Fund law, inviting law firms/practitioners to join as needed.

Requirements

• Admitted and enrolled attorneys under the Legal Practice Act; gatekeeping for functionality.
• Submit Attorneys Admission Certificates, Good Standing Certificates, and Fidelity Fund Certificates for all proposed attorneys.
• Provide Annexures A–E (and F if applicable) and required SBD returnables (e.g., SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4), Tax Evaluation questionnaire, and Pricing Schedule.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration proof and valid BBBEE status (panel targeted at B-BBEE Level 1–3).
• Prices must be in line with Eskom’s rate framework; negotiations possible with a 10% margin.
• Functionality threshold: minimum 70% for each sub-panel; failure to meet results in disqualification.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 01 October 2026 at 10:00; Clarification meeting on 09 September 2026 at 10:00 (online MS Teams). (See ITT for attendee details.)
• Submission method: Electronically via Eskom E-tendering site; no hard copies; PDFs only; price list in PDF; max 500MB per document; total 4GB.
• Documents to submit: Annexures A–E (and F where applicable), Annexure H–K, SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4, Tax questionnaire, CIDB/CCA requirements if applicable, and pricing schedule (PDF). (Details in the attached ITT documents.)
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; BBBEE status; valid legal practitioner qualifications; confirmation of joint-venture arrangements if applicable.
