Overview

Procurement of Media Monitoring and Analysis services for the CCMA for 36 months. The CCMA seeks a suitably qualified provider to deliver 24/7 monitoring across print, broadcast, online and social media, with dashboards, real-time alerts, and regular analytical reports to support strategic and reputational risk management.

Who should bid: service providers with established media monitoring and analysis capabilities, experience in producing dashboards and timely reports, and ability to handle crisis monitoring and ad hoc requests. The supplier must comply with relevant data and information security requirements as outlined in the tender docs.

Requirements

• Minimum experience: at least 3 years in media monitoring and analysis.
• Phase 1 evaluation (total 100 points):
  • Company experience (5 points)
  • Track record with measurable references (30 points)
  • Detailed project plan (25 points)
  • Human resource capability with CVs (30 points)
  • Sample monthly/quarterly reports (10 points)
• Phase 2 evaluation: 80/20 price-specific goals (maximum 100 points; price 80, specific goals 20). Specific goals include ownership-based preferences (BO 8, WO 6, YO 4, PWD 2 under 80/20; and reduced points under 90/10).
• Reports and formats: daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; dashboards; PDFs and Word formats; reports must include direct links to sources.
• Technical/operational: 99% system uptime; critical alerts within 1 hour; query response within 4 hours; 24-hour support; dedicated account management; 24/7 crisis/risk monitoring.
• Compliance: POPIA/data security; secure web portal; 24-hour access to portal; confidential data handling and ownership of data.
