Overview

Provision of office accommodation via an operational lease for Legal Aid South Africa’s Postmasburg Satellite Office for up to five years, including landlord refurbishment and tenant installation allowances, with compliance to CIDB and statutory standards. Suitable bidders are landlords/property owners (or their agents) with Postmasburg frontage, able to meet workspace norms, building compliance, and robust procurement requirements. A non-mandatory briefing is offered.

Requirements

• Landlord ownership proof or agent relationship letter; include title deed if required. (Annexure A)
• Proof of registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD) and SARS Tax Clearance/Tax PIN; consortia require separate certificates. (SBD 4, SBD 2)
• Compliance documents for functionality: approved building plan/structural report, occupancy certificate, zoning, fire plan, electrical, pests, and a building maintenance plan. (Annexure A)
• Accessibility criteria: building within Postmasburg target area, within 2 km walking distance to magistrate court; proximity to public transport; accessible entrance; disability amenities; 6-month change grace period. (Annexure A)
• Operational lease terms: five-year lease, no deposit, landlord refurbishment to CIDB standards, separate water/electricity meters, and right of first refusal clause. (Annexure A)
