PROVISION OF OPERATING REGULATIONS FOR HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEMS (ORHVS) TRAINING

Overview

Provision of a five-day instructor-led ORHVS training programme for municipal personnel, including accreditation, assessments and certification, delivered either in-person or via live online delivery. The proposer must offer Unit Standard 242766 (NQF Level 5, 8 credits) ORHVS training, with options for physical or online delivery, and must provide complete learning materials, assessments and certification. Target bidders: accredited training providers with capable facilitators, assessors and moderators, able to supply both delivery modes and meet local supplier and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Five-day ORHVS programme covering core operating regulations, permits, isolation, earthing, work permits, abnormal conditions, and live-work readiness; including orientation, learning materials, formative/summative assessments and certification.
• Evidence of accreditation/recognition for the programme and credentials for facilitator/assessor/moderator (where applicable).
• Compliance and pre-qualifications: Tax compliance PIN or SARS Tax Clearance; CSD number; valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CIPC registration; Signatory of Authority; detailed five-day course outline; accreditation proof; at least one recent reference.
• Locality prerequisites for Preference Points: proof of registered business within Central Karoo for locality points.
• Pricing and delivery: separate pricing for Option A (physical) and Option B (live online); prices must be VAT-inclusive and valid for 60 days.
