Requirements

• Open eligibility; Joint Ventures allowed with a representative, and all members jointly liable.
• Tender security of Kshs 100,000 in cash, bank guarantee, or insurer/CBK-approved guarantee.
• Evidence of eligibility and qualifications (including tax compliance) and conformity with tender documents; declaration against corruption; Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Foreign bidders: at least 40% of inputs sourced from Kenyan suppliers; JV rules apply for nationality/content.
• Completion within the intended timeframe; no conflicts of interest; full page serialization of submitted documents.

How to Apply

• Submit both soft (electronic via supplier portal) and hard copies (sealed envelope) by 3 November 2026, 10:00 A.M (Kenya time) per ITT in the attached document; hard copies to The County Secretary, P.O. Box 2780-20100, Nakuru; tender box at Moi Road HQ.
• Sealed envelopes must separate ORIGINAL and COPIES; serialize pages; include Form of Tender, pricing schedule, tender security, JV documents if any, and eligibility proofs.
• Site visit/pre-tender briefing may be offered; questions in writing by the deadline; responses and addenda published on the portals.
• Standstill period of 14 days after award; contract signing follow the standard process.
