Provision of Plumbing Services for a Period of 6 months

Overview

Provision of Plumbing Maintenance Services at OR Tambo International Airport for six months. This procurement targets plumbing maintenance providers with CIDB 4SO or higher, capable of delivering NEC3 Term Service Contract work at a major airport, including demonstrated experience on large facilities, PIRB Certificates of Compliance, SARS tax compliance, and B-BBEE considerations. The work includes a six-month period with fixed pricing and specific safety, insurance and contractual requirements (as per attached RFQ and NEC contract documents).

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading 4SO or higher.
• Proven track record: four similar plumbing maintenance projects with contract value ≥ R3,000,000; client letters on headed paper, with contactable references.
• On-site team composition: supervisor (trade-tested plumber) and plumbers, including two female onsite staff; proof of trade tests; minimum years of experience as specified (e.g., 5+ years for supervisors, 3+ years for plumbers).
• PIRB Certificate of Compliance for the resource issuing COC; proof of registration.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN (or CSD number if no PIN); ensure tax status is clear.
• Insurance considerations: capacity to meet required insurances (public liability, professional indemnity, etc.) as referenced in the contract data.
• B-BBEE: provide valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; Joint Ventures require consolidated B-BBEE evidence.
• Price and contract constraints: no contract price adjustments; prices fixed for the contract duration.
• Compliance: complete forms and returnable documents; no deviations unless explicitly allowed.
