PROVISION OF PRIMARY FIBRE OPTIC INTERNET LINE, MIMECAST AND EXCHANGE EMAIL HOSTING

Overview

Provision of a 36-month package including a primary fibre optic internet line, Mimecast, and Exchange Email hosting for the FAIS Ombud. The bid is Open-Tender with a mandatory site inspection (19–23 Oct 2026) and a non-compulsory briefing on 26 Oct 2026. Submission by 13 Nov 2026, 11:00, in Pretoria (Menlyn area). Requirements

• Demonstrate capabilities and experience relevant to ICT connectivity, Mimecast, and Exchange hosting.
• All pricing must be all-inclusive in South African Rand; pricing schedule to be provided.
• Bid documents must be signed, two printed copies plus one electronic copy; blue/black ink where required.
• Bids must be submitted in the FAIS Ombud tender box before the closing time; late submissions are rejected.
• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and keep information current.
• Post-award: conclude a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and provide a performance scorecard; background checks may be conducted. (See: FAIS2026/27-T002)
