Overview

Provision of professional architectural services (PSP) for rehabilitation, renovation and refurbishment of Somerset East Service Office in the Sarah Baartman District. The Eastern Cape DPWI invites a PSP firm with CIDB PSP capability and SACAP-qualified personnel to undertake design, documentation and contract administration under the CIDB PSP Third Edition contract, in a two‑stage competitive process. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), have tax matters in order, and provide a Professional Indemnity insurance for R3 million within 21 days of appointment.

Requirements

• Suitable experience and qualified personnel in delivering PSP services; CIDB PSP qualifications and SACAP registration
• Evidence of capacity including CVs/proofs for proposed project team and at least three client references
• Compliance with CSD registration and SARS tax status; proof required with tender
• Professional Indemnity insurance for R3 million to be secured within 21 days of appointment
• Completion and submission of SBD 1, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1; record of addenda; and pricing schedules
• Adherence to SANS 10845-3 tender rules; two-stage procurement; PPPFA 80/20 evaluation with price and specific goals
