Overview

Provision of professional civil/structural engineering services for the construction of Molteno Clinic. Open to professional service providers with suitable civil/structural engineering experience and qualified personnel; contract under the CIDB Professional Services Contract (Third edition, 2009). Two-stage procurement with a 90-day tender validity; an insurer undertaking (Professional Indemnity) must be provided within 21 days of appointment. (Tender Document)

Requirements

• At least one company director must be registered with ECSA as Professional Engineer, Professional Engineering Technologist or Technician.
• Tax matters in order; good standing with SARS; not listed on Treasury’s restricted suppliers; proof via Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
• Evidence of applicable professional registrations for at least one director and project professionals; CVs and ECSA verification.
• Minimum of three verifiable civil/structural projects (completed/current) with client, value, term, and contact details.
• Completion of returnable documents: Form of Offer and Acceptance, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; Declaration of Interest; etc.
• Professional Indemnity insurance/undertaking to be provided within 21 days of appointment.
• Prices to be in RSA Rand; tender validity 90 days; no alternative tenders; one contract for the entire scope.

• Closing: 07 July 2026 at 11:00; bids must be deposited in the bid box at the Bhisho Qhasana Building, labeled “TENDERS” (sealed envelopes). No electronic submissions.
• Submission must include: CSD proof/tax PIN, VAT status (if applicable), Form of Offer and Acceptance, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, project team CVs, project references, pricing schedule, and authorization documents (signatory resolutions as required).
