Overview

Provision of professional services for information systems, communication and technology services. City of Cape Town invites open tender for ICT professional services across multiple categories (Business Applications, Distributed Computing, ERP, GIS, Infrastructure, Fixed Networks, Telecommunications, Cyber Security) with contract to 30 June 2030. Suitable bidders include entities with demonstrated ICT capabilities and relevant certifications; site clarification is strongly encouraged.

Requirements

• Compliance with the City’s SCM Policy and related procedures; no abuse of the SCM system.
• Completion and submission of required returnable schedules and forms (e.g., Details of Tenderer, Certificate of Authority for Partnerships/JVs, Declarations of Interest/Conflict, Independent Bid Determination, Authorization for Deductions, etc.); supporting JV/partnership documentation where applicable.
• Minimum functionality scoring: per category, a threshold of 33/50 to be considered responsive.
• Provision of samples where required (per Tender Specifications).
• Registration on the City of Cape Town Supplier Database and in the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); updates must be kept current.
• Tax compliance must be in order (SARS); non-SARS-compliant or foreign suppliers facing tax exemption conditions may apply.
• No conflicts of interest; declare any conflicts at submission.
• Access to and adherence to data protection and POPIA requirements; handle personal information appropriately.
• Tender may include price schedules (electronic and hard copy) and returnable documentation (e.g., Schedule F and pricing schedules).

• Closing and submission: Closing date 12 August 2026; closing time 10:00 (per the Tender Document); Tender Box 244, Civic Centre, Cape Town.
