Overview

Provision of professional services for monitoring water quality over a 3-year period in Swellendam Municipality. Bidder should be a professional or lab with water quality monitoring expertise and at least 3 years’ experience in similar contracts, able to provide a SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN, and compliant with the municipality’s procurement rules. Proposals must use the prescribed tender documents; include an accreditation-letter from an accredited laboratory for tests (not older than 6 months). The 80/20 evaluation policy applies.

Requirements

• SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN (valid)
• Proof from an accredited laboratory that tests will be performed (confirmation letter not older than 6 months)
• Tenders on prescribed documents; non-refundable deposit of R759.20 to obtain documents; sealed envelope; clearly marked tender number/description
• Adhere to Swellendam Municipality’s preferential procurement policy and 80/20 point system; tender may be non-responsive if information is incomplete
• Bids valid for 150 days from closing date
