PROVISION OF REGAS, REPAIRS, SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF FIRE EQUIPMENT AND GAS SUPPRESSION FOR SABC GQEBERHA AND MTHATHA FOR THE PERIOD OF 3 YEARS

Overview

Procurement of regas, repairs, service and maintenance of fire equipment and FM200 gas suppression for SABC Gqeberha and Mthatha for 3 years. Bidders should be capable fire-safety service providers with CIDB designation, SAQCC Fire registration for on-site technicians, and compliance with South African fire-standards.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 2SF at closing and at award.
• Valid proof of membership for technicians with SAQCC Fire registration (and proof of membership with All Technicians on site). (see Oct RFQ Fire Equipment Maintenance EC_ (002).pdf)
• Mandatory documents: valid lease agreement or municipal bill at closing; proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; company TV license statements; valid tax clearance (or SARS pin); original/certified BBBEE certificate; certified company registration; certified shareholders and directors IDs.
• Tax and compliance: no contract awarded if tax matters are not in order or TV license invalid; must be registered on CSD.
• Technical scope: maintenance per SANS 10139 and SANS 14520; FM200 gas suppression maintenance; annual preventative maintenance plus corrective maintenance and 24/7 emergency response.
• References and team: CVs for Team Leader and Technician with SAQCC Fire certification; minimum experience requirements; on-site certifications for all proposed technicians.
• Documentation and pricing: detailed costing (Annex F – Pricing Schedule) and separate attachment for pricing; complete mandatory Annexures A–F.
