Overview

Provision of Risk Financing and Short-Term Corporate Insurance Broking Services for the Period of Five Years. The UUW invites bids from corporate insurance brokers with experience in risk financing programs to manage the organisation’s insurance broker and risk-financing needs over a five-year term; bidders should have professional indemnity and public liability cover, meet BBBEE requirements, and plan for Contract Participation Goals (CPG).

Requirements

• Public Liability Insurance minimum R10,000,000 and Professional Indemnity Insurance minimum R20,000,000 for the contract period.
• Compliance with SBD requirements, including completion of SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure) and declaration of Contract Participation Goals; attendance at the compulsory briefing.
• BBBEE: provide a BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (as applicable) to qualify for preference points.
• Contract Participation Goals: minimum 35% CPG, with at least 25% to Black Women and 10% Local participation; main service provider must subcontract at least 35% to CPG partners (subject to conditions).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD registration, VAT number, and tax compliance status as applicable; CIDB considerations as per CIDB Conditions of Tender.
• Minimum insurance obligations and on-going reporting/monitoring of CPG; adherence to CIDB Standard Conditions of Tender.
• English tender submissions only; structured format with clear referencing and requisite signatures.
