Overview

Provision of roof repairs at the Hauler Zone and AMI-House at Ngqura Container Terminal for Transnet Port Terminals (once-off service). Bidders should be roofing/civil works specialists with CIDB registration 3 GB or higher (or capable of achieving registration prior to evaluation), and able to meet safety, CIDB SFU Annex G, and pre-qualification requirements. Joint ventures must satisfy CIDB and lead partner rules; attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting is mandatory; documents and declarations must be complete and verifiable.

Requirements

• CIDB eligibility: 3 GB or higher (or capable of registration); JV rules and certified joint venture agreement if applicable.
• Compulsory clarification meeting attendance; returnable Schedule T2.2-01 certificate of attendance.
• Health and safety: valid good standing, Fall Protection Plan Developer certificate, risk assessment, Safety File (index), Safety Work Method Statement.
• Experience: minimum four contactable references for similar works.
• Submissions: valid Tax Clearance with TCS PIN, SANAS B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CIDB certificate, CSD registration, and JV letters if applicable.
• Evaluation: functionality minimum 60 points; price (80) and specific goals (20); 80/20 preference with evidence for B-BBEE and Black Youth ownership.
• Other: no alternatives unless allowed; English tender language; two-envelope/Stage procedures as per tender data.
