PROVISION OF ROUND LOG TRANSPORT FROM HANGLIP TO TIMBADOLA SAWMILL AS AND WHEN REQUIREDClosed

Overview

Procurement of round log transport from Hanglip to Timbadola Sawmill, as and when required. SAFCOL invites service providers with forestry/logistics transport capability to quote for timber transport (pine sawlogs) within up to 90 km, using multiple transport modes. Suitable bidders should have compliant equipment (forestry operations), relevant licences, and SANAS-accredited BBBEE documentation.

Requirements

• Mandatory equipment: minimum three 6x4 or 6x6 rigid truck tractors with at least two/three-axle logger trailers; three-wheel loggers for loading.
• Proof of equipment: ENatis documentation (RC1 or LCO) or equivalent ownership proof; if leased, include lease/rental agreements.
• Compliance documents: latest SARS Tax Clearance; SANAS-accredited BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; CSD (MAAA) number; ID copies of company directors.
• Submission docs: complete RFQ, company letterhead quotations; SBD forms; ensure all required documents are attached.
• Rate sheet: complete Schedule 6 with rates per km; do not leave blanks.
• Evaluation readiness: provide details proving black ownership thresholds (e.g., 51%+ Black Ownership for 20 points) and local locality proof if claiming specific goals.
• Additional: adhere to SAFCOL supplier code of conduct; be prepared to provide ownership and compliance documentation as required.
