Overview

Procurement of round log transport services from SAFCOL Tweefontein Plantation to Sappi Ngodwana, aimed at forestry logistics providers with timber-haul capabilities, including multi-axle rigid trucks and three-wheel loggers, and with appropriate COF/licensing, ENatis registration, B-BBEE status, tax clearance, and CSD.

Requirements

• Equipment: minimum three 6x4 or 6x6 rigid logger-truck tractors with 2–3 axle logger trailers; two or more wheel loggers for loading; equipment available immediately after award.
• Certifications/registrations: COF and licences; ENatis RC1 or LCO ownership proof (or acceptable proof if owned/leased); SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; CSD registration (or MAAA number); latest tax clearance.
• Ownership/evidence: ENatis documents or proof of purchase; lease agreements if leased.
• Documentation: fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, SBD forms, CSD/MAAA, ID copies of directors.
• Rate information: complete Schedule 6 with all rates/km; rates inclusive of VAT; exclude handling; no blanks.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference (price 80, specific goals 20); 51%+ black ownership credits 20 points.
• Conditions: bids may be rejected for non-compliance, tax issues, or misrepresentation; delivery only after official purchase order/promise note.
