PROVISION OF ROUND LOG TRANSPORT FROM THATHE VONDO TO TIMBADOLA SAWMILLClosed

Overview

The RFQ seeks a service provider to transport round logs from Thathe Vondo to Timbadola Sawmill. Bidders should have forestry/logistics transport capability and immediate availability of suitable equipment, plus compliance credentials (COF, licenses, and ENatis). Eligible suppliers must also meet B-BBEE, tax clearance, and CSD requirements.

Requirements

• Fully complete the RFQ, submit on company letterhead, and sign all SBD forms.
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Tax clearance and SARS verification; CSD registration (or register within 7 working days of award).
• ID copies of company directors.
• Equipment and certificates: minimum three 6x4 or 6x6 rigid logger tractor units with a three-axle logger trailer; three-wheel logger for loading; COF and vehicle licenses.
• ENatis proof of ownership (RC1/LCO) or equivalent; if leased, attach lease/rental agreements.
• Returnable documents: official quotation on letterhead; latest tax clearance; latest BBBEE certificate; CSD/MAAA number; director IDs (DocumentRFQ references: RFQ202072026.pdf).
• Evaluation: Phase 1 administrative compliance; Phase 2 mandatory equipment proof; Phase 3 price and specific goals (80/20 scoring; 51%+ Black Ownership yields up to 20 points).
• Notes: lowest price not automatically accepted; prices must be VAT-inclusive; no goods/services before an official PO or promissory note (Special Conditions).
