Overview

Procurement of runway and taxiway repairs for BFIA for a period of 6 months. This RFQ by Airports Company South Africa targets CIDB 2CE+ civil pavement contractors to execute pavement repairs under an NEC3 Term Service Short Contract (TSSC3). A compulsory briefing and site inspection are required.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 2CE or higher.
• Tax & registrations: SARS PIN and Tax Compliance Status; where applicable, separate TCS/CSD numbers for JV/consortium; is required.
• Insurance: aviation liability insurance ≥ R300,000; proof before work starts; annual renewal.
• Functionality: minimum 90/100. Requirements include proven company experience (2+ similar projects) and qualified personnel (Project Manager with Civil Engineering qualification; Site Supervisor with ND Civil Engineering; CVs and client references).
• BBEEE: provide original sworn affidavit or SANAS B-BBEE certificate; JV must provide consolidated certificate; proof of goals claimed.
• Site/clarification: compulsory site briefing (10 July 2026 09:00 at BFIA) and query deadline (10 July 2026).
• Submission: bids due 22 July 2026 12:00; submit to the Bid Box at Bram Fischer International Airport; late bids not accepted.
• Pricing/contract: returnable documents on official forms; fixed pricing for the contract duration (no price adjustments); details in NEC3 contract data.
