Overview

Provision of Safety and Security at Water World Fun Park for a period of three (3) months. This RFQ from BCMDA seeks PSIRA-compliant security providers to deliver static guarding, access control, patrols, armed response, asset protection and incident reporting for Water World Fun Park over three months. Proposals are evaluated on an 80/20 PPPFA basis, with a 90-day price validity. Submissions must be hard-copy, sealed, and delivered by 23 October 2026. The quotation process requires CSD registration, completion of MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9 and Declaration of Bidder forms, and compliance with mandatory requirements (tax clearance, municipal arrears, insurance, firearm licenses, PSIRA certificates, and proof of prior security experience). Requirements

• PSIRA: Valid Company PSIRA Certificate, PSIRA Good Standing, and Directors’ PSIRA registrations
• Firearms: Three certified firearm licenses registered to the company
• Insurance/Labour: COIDA Good Standing; Public Liability Insurance min. R1 million
• Compliance docs: CSD registration or supplier number; tax reference; complete MBD 4, 6.1, 7.1, 8, 9 and Declaration of Bidder
• Experience: Demonstrated security service experience with a combined value ≥ R300,000 and client reference letters
• Financials: Prices inclusive of VAT; confirmation of municipal accounts not in arrears for >3 months (company and directors)
• Compliance: No service-of-state conflicts; bids sealed; no TIPPEX; not all prices elsewhere
• Evaluation: Adhere to 80/20 split (price 80; specific goals 20) and 90-day bid validity
