Provision of security guarding services to the Department of Human Settlements, UGU District Office, 2 Station Drive, Port Shepstone for a period of 36 months. Open-tender; suitable for security service providers with PSIRA registration and related compliance (PSIRA, tax, CSD), capable of 24/7 guarding at the Port Shepstone site. Requirements

• PSIRA registration and current good standing (and proof for directors, as applicable)
• COIDA/Compensation of Occupation Diseases & Disabilities (COIDA) compliance
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or tax clearance status
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration; if already on CSD, provide number
• Proof of valid company registration; proof of at least one vehicle registered to the company or owner
• Public liability insurance (min R1 million)
• PSIRA license/registration for the security guards; PSIRA good standing letter
• ICASA license for two-way radio equipment (where applicable)
• PSSPF registration or compliance evidence
• Signed company resolutions or authority to sign bid (and SBD 4 disclosures as required)
• Compliance with SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and terms of reference

How to Apply

• Attend compulsory briefing: 25-06-2026 at 11:00, Department of Human Settlements UGU District Office, 2 Station Drive, Port Shepstone (bring original bid document at briefing).
• Submit bid in a sealed envelope to Bid Box 03 at Eagle Building, 12th Floor, 353–356 Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Street, Durban 4001; closing 14-07-2026 at 11:00. Include an electronic PDF on a USB inside the sealed envelope.
