Overview

• Provision of security services at Webuye County Hospital. Open Tender issued by Bungoma County Government for non-consulting security services, including staffing, equipment, supervision, and reporting, to be delivered at the Webuye County Hospital.

• Suitable bidders: licensed private security firms (including potential joint ventures) with capacity to provide hospital-grade security services and meet Kenyan public-procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Tenderers must be eligible and non-conflicted; JV allowed with liability sharing; not debarred; comply with anti-corruption rules.
• Foreign bidders (if any) must source at least 40% of contract inputs from Kenyan suppliers; provide evidence in Section III.
• Tax compliance: provide valid tax compliance certificate or tax exemption; comply with environmental and other statutory requirements.
• Provide forms and evidence of qualifications, conform to the tender documents, and submit a signed JV agreement if a joint venture participates.
• Tender security or tender- securing declaration as specified in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).

How to Apply

• Submission method: hard-copy tenders submitted in a single sealed package in the Tender Box next to the Hospital Boardroom/Medical Superintendent Office on the first floor Administration Block. Late bids are not accepted.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Activity Schedule, Tender Security or Securing Declaration, Joint Venture documents (if applicable), evidence of qualifications and eligibility, conformity evidence, and other forms listed in Section IV of the tender documents.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: comply with ITT requirements (tax clearance, PPRA debarment checks, nationality rules, 40% local inputs for foreign bidders, etc.). See ITT 4 and Section III.
• Briefing/site visit: may be required or optional as per the TDS; minutes and addenda will be published; attendance is not mandatory for eligibility.
