Overview

The tender is for the provision of security services for a period of three years. Bidders should be qualified security-service providers capable of meeting the 80/20 evaluation (price 80, specific goals 20) and a pre-qualification threshold of 70/100 to proceed to financial evaluation.

Requirements

• Fully completed bid document and MBD 1–9
• Latest CSD report (not older than 3 months)
• COIDA letter of good standing
• CIDB registration (as applicable to the security scope)
• Proof of registration with a Security Registration Body
• Certified copies of identity documents (not older than 6 months)
• Municipal clearance certificates or equivalent (rates/lease where applicable)
• If applicable: Joint venture agreement
• Bid validity: 90 days
• Note: Pre-qualification evaluation must reach at least 70/100 to proceed to financial evaluation (see attached criteria)

• Submission method: Completed bids deposited in the Bid box at Budget Office, 15 Maclear Road, Elliot; documents also obtainable from etenders.gov.za and slm.gov.za
• Documents to submit: Completed signed bid document, MBD 1–9, CSD, COIDA, CIDB proof, Security Registration Body proof, certified IDs, municipal clearance/rates documentation, and any joint-venture agreements
• Pre-qualifications: Achieve at least 70/100 to move to financial evaluation
