Requirements

• PRISA registration for the company and directors; authority to sign on behalf of the bidder.
• Firearm licenses (9mm, shotguns) and firearm competency certificates; SAPS transport permit where applicable.
• Insurance and employee benefits: liability insurance (min. R10m), UIF/COIDA, Private Security Sector Provident Fund, Fidelity Guarantee (min. R10m), Public Liability (min. R50m), Professional Indemnity.
• Tax and registration: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or TCS certificate; CSD registration; VAT status if applicable.
• Evidence of readiness for security operations: Riot Team and Critical Infrastructure capabilities, validated equipment (vehicles, comms), and required certifications (ISO 9001:2015, SAIDSA where relevant) as part of site-inspection criteria.
• Returnable documentation and signatories: complete Form A–R, Authority of Signatory, Joint Venture resolutions if applicable, and proof of JV/consortium arrangements.
