Provision of security services (physical guarding, security technology and maintenance/support) at Kendal Power Station and NKP/non-NKP sites and surrounding areas, 24/7 for 60 months. Bidders should have capabilities in guarding, access control, CCTV/alarms, security technology installation and ongoing maintenance, and relevant SDL&I/SHEQ compliance. The RFP uses a two-stage process (stage 1: proposed solutions; stage 2: detailed pricing on NEC3 Term Services Contract) with a minimum 70% functionality threshold and a final pricing evaluation. Key timelines: mandatory briefing 29 Oct 2026, closing 6 Nov 2026, submissions electronically via Eskom E-tendering, with a 90-day tender validity. Tender documents require extensive returnables and compliance (SBD forms, Integrity Pact, Local Content declarations, CSD registration, tax questionnaire, etc.), as well as security for performance (bond or parent company guarantee).
