Overview

Provision of services to dismantle and install a Midea air conditioner from Citrusdal to the PPECB Piketberg office, including transportation and on-site reinstallation. Bidders must be CIDB registered (Grade 1 ME or higher) and comply with OHS, SANS 10142-1, and ISO 9001, with site inspection mandatory.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: Grade 1 ME or higher (mandatory)

• SAQCC GAS registration (mandatory)

• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993; accredited person on site; certificates issued on completion

• Electrical work: wiring in accordance with SANS 10142-1; supply and install refrigerant; units with heating and cooling; ISO 9001 accreditation

• Safety: trained personnel, proper safety devices and competency; safeguard equipment during dismantle/install

• Site details: dismantle Citrusdal unit and reinstall at Piketberg; ~50 km transport; work to be completed in one day

• Site inspection: compulsory on 24 August 2026 at Citrusdal (65 Voortrekker Street)

• Additional compliance: insurance for work, tax/CSD/B-BBEE requirements, and relevant bid disclosures
