PROVISION OF SHORT-TERM INSURANCE BROKERAGE SERVICES FOR LEPELLE NORTHERN WATER

Overview

Provision of short-term insurance brokerage services for Lepelle Northern Water (LNW). The project covers design, placement, claims management, policy administration, and advisory services for five years (with annual renewal based on performance), targeting FSCA-licensed insurance brokers with FAIS compliance and robust GRC capabilities.

Requirements

• Administrative and mandatory qualifications: Completed SBD1, SBD6.1; valid SARS PIN; CSD registration; valid B-BBEE certificate; company/CIPC documents; certified directors’ IDs; completed SBD4 and SBD3.1. (From attached tender documents)
• Mandatory technical/fit criteria: Joint Venture agreements (if applicable); proof of CSD; proof of municipal rates or lease; Valid Professional Indemnity Cover minimum R10 million; FSCA Financial Service Provider license; three dedicated personnel with CVs and references; FAIS compliance; SAQA accreditation for any foreign qualifications; proof of membership in IRMSA or IISA. • Functionality (minimum 80 points to progress): live demonstration of an automated claims management system (registration, tracking, dashboards, audit trail, security/POPIA controls); three dedicated roles (Director/Regional Manager, Key Account Manager, Claims Administrator) with CVs; client references in insurance brokerage with assets ≥ R1B; demonstrated personnel and system capabilities.
