Overview

SAFCOL seeks quotations for stacking, boiler feeding, stickers manufacturing and value extraction services for a month at Timbadola Saw Mill. The work targets sawmilling/forestry contractors with labour supply capability, transport, and compliance with SAFCOL safety and IR standards; bidders must meet B-BBEE, tax, and regulatory prerequisites.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing sawmilling/forestry/agriculture contracts with client references.
• Compliance with Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, safety training, and COID/Workman’s compensation.
• Contractor to supply all personnel with SAFCOL-aligned PPE; provide accommodation; transport workers as specified.
• Detailed staffing per shifts for Stacking, Boiler Feeding, VEP, and Temba Timbers, plus supervisory and IR risk management.
• Returnable documents: tax clearance, BBBEE SANAS or EME/QSE affidavit, CSD registration, company IDs, and SBD forms.
• Special conditions: firm VAT-inclusive pricing; no delivery before official purchase order; JV must present consolidated BEE certificate.
• Evaluation uses 80/20 price-specific-goals split; at least 51% Black Ownership yields specific points.
