Overview

Provision of student and staff tracksuits for the University of Fort Hare (UFH). The RFQ covers supply of UFH-branded tracksuits (pants and tops) for staff and students, with delivery to the Alice Campus and a required sample for quality assessment. Bidders must comply with UFH SCM rules and be registered on the Central Supplier Database and UFH’s supplier database; documents must be submitted by email and in line with the attached RFQ specifications (RFQ104NM2026.-SBD-1.pdf; RFQ104NM2026.-Specification.pdf).

Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) is compulsory.
• Registration on the UFH supplier database.
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Complete SQD Form 1 and the pricing/declaration documents (e.g., SBD forms) as specified in the attached RFQ.
• Deliver UFH-branded tracksuits to Alice Campus and supply a quality sample for evaluation (specifications outline branding: UFH logo front; back wording for student top; staff navy tracksuit design to remove logos).
• Compliance with UFH SCM policies; scoring includes 80 points for price and 20 for specific goals (including ≥51% ownership by EC-based entities); bidding must satisfy gender/GBV and related policies.
• Bid validity, disclosure, and anti-collusion declarations as per attached forms (SBD family; e.g., SBD 9).
• University reserves right not to award or to amend evaluation criteria; no late quotations are accepted.

• Briefing: Compulsory briefing date listed as N/A.

• Delivery conditions: UFH order upon award; pricing must cover all activities as per the specification; samples may be requested before award.
