PROVISION OF STAFF TRANSPORT SERVICES FOR THE PORT OF CAPE TOWN FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS.

Overview

Provision of staff transport services for the Port of Cape Town for 36 months. Bids are invited from transport service providers with appropriate accreditation, fleet capacity and experience in employee transportation. Compulsory briefing is on 23 October 2026 at 10:00 in Cape Town, and responses must be submitted via the Transnet e-tender portal by 10 November 2026, 16:00. Bid validity is 180 days.

Requirements

• Experience: at least three reference letters in the last 10 years showing ≥6 months of uninterrupted employee transport service. (Annexure B)
• Capability: accreditation, proof of transport availability, fleet security and communications, a Business Continuity Plan, and appropriate Risk Insurance cover. (Annexure A)
• Compliance: tax/compliance requirements including SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; potential need for TCS PIN; ensure supplier profile in SARS/CSD as applicable. (SBD1 Part B; Annexures E)
• B-BBEE and socio-economic obligations: adherence as specified in the Master Agreement. (Annexure D)
• Documentation: complete and submit all required returnable documents and forms exactly as provided (SBD1, pricing in e-tender portal, etc.). (Schedule of Requirements)
• Integrity and confidentiality: sign the Supplier Integrity Pact and Non-Disclosure Agreement. (Annexures F, G)
• Contract framework: comply with Transnet General Bid Conditions and the Master Agreement (Annexures E, D); pricing via Annexure C.
