PROVISION OF TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY

Overview

The University of Fort Hare seeks a professionally facilitated team-building activity for six participants, to be delivered on 29 January 2027 in Port Alfred by a registered service provider. The program aims to enhance teamwork, communication, collaboration, trust, leadership and problem-solving. Bidders must meet UFH procurement requirements and hold current Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, UFH supplier database registration, and a Tax Clearance certificate (plus related UFH documentary registrations). The specification confirms six participants, a 9:00–15:30 timeslot, and a Port Alfred location as the planned delivery context.

Requirements

• CSD registration is compulsory; UFH supplier database registration may be required.
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate; compliance with UFH/SCM policies; completion of SQD Form 1.
• Registration on UFH’s supplier database; adherence to bid conditions and SCM policy; non-disclosure of bid information during open period.
• Completion of B-BBEE documentation and consideration of preference points (80/20 or 90/10 system by value up to R50m); provide necessary B-BBEE proof.
• Submission via email by the closing date; use the specified bid documents (e.g., SQD Form 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 9) and pricing declarations; ensure no late quotes.
• Compulsory contract framework: formal order will be issued in writing; adherence to the contract and PM policies; non-compliance may lead to disqualification.
