PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FROM ALICE CAMPUS TO HOGSBACKClosed

Overview

The University of Fort Hare invites bids for the provision of transportation services from Alice Campus to Hogsback and return for staff and postgraduate students. Open to suitably qualified, registered service providers; bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and on the University of Fort Hare Database.

Requirements

• CSD registration mandatory and UFH Database registration.
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Complete SQD Form 1 and submit required RFQ documents (e.g., SBD forms) as outlined in the RFQ package (RFQ113NM2026.-SBD-1.pdf).
• Vehicle requirement: provide a roadworthy 30-seater bus for a single trip on 27 October 2026 (Alice to Hogsback and return), pick-up 08:00, return 15:30; capacity 30.
• Price to include VAT, cover all activities, and be valid for a specified period (90 days in the pricing form); award follows SCM policy with right to accept the cheapest quote or amend criteria (no obligation to award).
• Compliance with University policies (GBV, Code of Ethics, Anti-Fraud/Corruption) and BBEEE requirements; price/qualifying goals allocation (80/20 or 90/10, specific goals such as women ownership).
• Submission via electronic format in accordance with the RFQ; no late quotes will be accepted (as per the RFQ package).
