Overview

Provision of two (2) industrial road sweepers for two months on a service-lease arrangement for Transnet Port Terminals, including full maintenance and on-site support. Bidders should supply diesel-powered industrial road sweepers with full maintenance, capable of operation from Transnet’s Richards Bay site, and able to meet safety/SHE, COIDA, tax, and B-BBEE compliance requirements as part of the bid.

Requirements

• Diesel-powered, roadworthy industrial road sweepers meeting equipment specifications and capable of continuous service during a two-month contract.
• Service levels: 30-minute response to breakdowns; replacement equipment if breakdowns exceed 2 hours; coordinated maintenance with Transnet fleet manager.
• Staffing: one operator per sweeper per shift and at least one supervisor; operators with valid driver licenses and medical SHERQ-ready certificates.
• Compliance: COIDA good standing; SARS tax compliance PIN; CSD registration; B-BBEE proof (certificate or sworn affidavit); returnable documents (SBD1, pricing, etc).
• Documentation: adherence to RFQ documentation including specific goals, declarations, and safety/file requirements as outlined in Annexures.
