Provision of vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and towing services for a contract period ending 31 December 2026. Requirements

• Valid Tax Clearance / SARS compliance and Tax PIN/CSD registration number (MBD2).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and CIDB status if applicable; CIDB not always required but to be provided where relevant.
• Completed MBD forms: MBD1, MBD2, MBD4, MBD6.1 (if claiming points), MBD7.1 or MBD7.2, MBD8, MBD9, MBD15.
• B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (proof of level of contributor).
• Proof of locality: municipal address and supporting documents (lease or affidavit when necessary) to claim locality points.
• Attach municipal accounts for directors, lease agreements if renting, and identity/registration documents as required (per checklist).
• Compliance with SCM policies and declaration documents (past SCM practices, independent bid determination, etc.).
• Documents must be in the bid package with proper authorisation resolutions and signed forms (as applicable).

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from the Prince Albert Municipality website or from Ms. Theolencia Biljohn for a non-refundable R150 (VAT included) (see document).
• Prepare and submit a sealed envelope clearly marked with RFQ 115/2026, the title, and closing date/time; place in the tender box at the Prince Albert Finance Division (Thusong Centre) or post to Private Bag X53, Prince Albert 6930 (documents must arrive by closing).
• Submission deadline: 18 September 2026 at 12:00. Late or unmarked bids are not considered.
• Bids are opened publicly after closure and evaluated on an 80/20 preference points system (price 80, BBBEE/locality 20; BBBEE 10 and Locality 10 within the 80/20 portion).
• Include all required documents: MBD forms, BBBEE proof, CSD/TCS details, CIDB (if applicable), municipal accounts, lease/ownership proofs, and signed authorisation resolutions.
• Confirm bid validity period (minimum 90 days) and respond to any further documentation requests as needed.
