Overview

Provision and supply of driveway and exterior building paving at City Deep Depot, including site preparation, sub-base, paving blocks and kerbs, for the Border Management Authority, to be delivered by a civil/construction contractor with CIDB GB grade or higher. Delivery target: within 2 months of contract award.

Requirements

• CIDB Grade 1 GB or higher (proof of registration to be submitted).
• Tax compliance: submit SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or a printed TCS certificate; if part of a consortium, each party must submit a separate TCS/CSD.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration number if no TCS PIN available.
• BBBEE: submit a BBBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit; claim preference points via SBD 6.1.
• Complete and submit the prescribed SBD forms: SBD 1, SBD 3 (Pricing Schedule), SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7.1 (Contract).
• Compulsory briefing attendance and submission via the specified portal; follow PPPFA 2000 and 2022 Regulations; CIDB 1 GB or higher proof required.
• No bidding by persons in the state service or entities with improper state connections; comply with anti-collusion and related provisions.

• Submissions must be via the e-tender platform; closing date 18 September 2026 at 11:00. Late bids are not accepted.
• Compulsory briefing: 11 September 2026 at 11:00, 13 Angus Street, City Deep, Transnet Building (see CITY DEEP FOYER.pdf..pdf).
• Obtain bid documents online through the e-tender portal; when applicable, document references in attachments (e.g., CIDB, SBD forms) must be completed and signed.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CIDB registration, SARS TCS (or PIN), CSD number, BBBEE documentation.
