PUBLIC TENDER NOTICE - SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF NETWORKING EQUIPMENT (FIREWALLS, SWITCHES AND ROUTERS)

Overview

BOCRA invites bids for the supply and delivery of networking equipment including firewalls, switches and routers. Bidders should be 100% citizen-owned; Botswana-domiciled bidders must be PPRA-registered in Code 203, Subcode 01 (Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Spares and Accessories) and can benefit from youth-owned price concessions; the process uses Open Domestic Bidding with EDD preferences. Not guaranteed to accept the lowest tender.

Requirements

• 100% citizen-owned, as per Section 76(2) of the Public Procurement Act.
• Botswana-domiciled bidders must be PPRA-registered in Code 203, Subcode 01.
• Non-refundable tender deposit of BWP 285 (VAT inclusive) to obtain the ITT; POP to tenders@bocra.org.bw.
• Citizen youth-owned companies may obtain ITT at 50% of the fee (CAB 14 (B)/2015).
• Preference margins under Economic Diversification Drive (EDD).

How to Apply

• Clarifications by 09 November 2026; responses by 13 November 2026.
• Submission deadline: not later than 10:00 on 20 November 2026; opening at 10:05 on 20 November 2026.
• Submission method: single envelope to the Tender Box, BOCRA Secretariat, Plot 50671 Independence Avenue, Gaborone.
• Documents to obtain/submit: POP showing payment for ITT; evidence of citizen ownership; PPRA registration; follow the Tender Document requirements (see Tender Document).
