Overview

Procurement of the purchase, collection and removal of scrap ferrous metal at Polokwane RDC, Bela-Bela RDC and various Limpopo sites on an as-and-when-required basis for a contract period of 36 months. Bidders should be scrap-metal recyclers/salvage/logistics providers with ferrous metals handling capability (steel, CTs, VT, insulators, line hardware, etc.) and the capacity to operate under Eskom’s e-tendering process; must have CSD and tax-compliant status and be able to support a 36-month cycle across multiple Limpopo sites.

Requirements

• Eligibility: Tenderers must be eligible to bid, not restricted by Eskom or National Treasury, and must not submit more than one tender except on certain e-tendering circumstances; must not be sanctioned.
• Documentation: Complete tender returnables (SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4) and Annexures A–K; include the Pricing Schedule/BOQ (PDF); provide all required technical, commercial and financial information.
• Compliance: Adhere to Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender; no conflicts of interest; CIDB not applicable for this contract; not subcontract 100% of the scope.
