Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of traffic road signs to Cederberg Municipality Technical Services. This open tender targets suppliers capable of providing road signs, mounting hardware, and related items (e.g., poles, clamps, stands) and delivering to multiple Western Cape towns. Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and SARS Tax Compliance PIN; tax clearance for quotes over R30 000; invoices paid within 30 days.
• Complete and submit all official bidding pages and forms (e.g., MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, MBD 9) as applicable.
• VAT- inclusive pricing; quotes valid for 60 days.
• B-BBEE verification (SANAS-certified certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs) to claim preference points.
• Locality preference evidenced for 10 points (within Cederberg), 5 points (West Coast), 2 points (Western Cape), 0 otherwise.
• Delivery lead time: 7 days after purchase order; delivery addresses include Lamberts Bay, Elands Bay, Clanwilliam, Citrusdal, Graafwater.
• Compliance with GCC/SCC and anti-corruption provisions; no service-by-state involvement.

How to Apply

• Deadline: submissions must be in the bid box by 28 August 2026 at 12:00; late/faxed quotes not accepted.
• Submission method: sealed envelope clearly marked with the reference and title, placed in the Clanwilliam bid box.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; SARS TCS PIN or printed TCS; if applicable, VAT status; proof for locality and BBBEE to claim points.
