Overview

Provision of medical surveillance services to Cederberg Municipality, including vaccination, health screening and related occupational health services for staff. Suitable for occupational health providers with HPCSA/SANC registration, capable of immunizations and related tests across remote towns; must be on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and meet tax, BBBEE and local procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Mandatory registrations and compliance: CSD registration; Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or SARS PIN; VAT registration where applicable.
• Documentation: Complete and sign all official bid documents (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD9) and the contract form (MBD7.1); pricing must follow the Pricing Schedule.
• Certifications: HPCSA/SANC registration for providers; BBBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit; proof of locality for preference points.
• Scope and method: Vaccination dosing (three doses with day 1, month 1, month 4; within 6 months); MSDS accompanying bid; patient counselling; no additional work beyond scope.
• Financials and administration: Invoices to specified emails; payment within 30 days of delivery; official order binds council.
• Evaluation and compliance: 80/20 preference system (price 80; BBBEE and Locality 20); no bids from state officers; adherence to GCC/SCC.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 28 August 2026 (12:00) per bid notice. Submissions must be deposited in the bid box at the Municipal Offices, 2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam (sealed; not accepted by phone/fax/email).
• Submission method: In a sealed envelope; on official forms only; documents may be obtained from the Supply Chain Management Unit.
• Required documents: Official forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD9) and pricing schedule; MBD7.1 contract form; BBBEE documentation; TCS/CSD proof; tax clearance.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; SARS TCS/PIN or CSD number; HPCSA/SANC registration; BBBEE documentation; proof of locality for preference points.
• Briefing/document access: Documents obtainable from Cederberg Municipality SCM (2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam); pricing schedule included in the tender pack (Pricing Schedule) and must be completed as instructed.
• Invoices and payment: Invoices to georgiac@cederberg.gov.za or michellep@cederberg.gov.za; payment within 30 days after delivery and submission of required delivery documents.
