Overview

Procurement of a 200-seat ESET Protect Complete license renewal (1 year) for the Cederberg Municipality, including endpoint protection, file server security, encryption, threat defense, cloud management, and related features. Open to IT software license suppliers with SA procurement compliance; bidders must be registered on CSD, provide tax clearance, and submit all required SCM/BBEE documentation.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and active status; tax clearance or SARS evidence for quotes above R30,000; ensure tax matters are in order.
• Submit all official forms and documents (not re-typed): pricing schedule, MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, and pricing.
• Pricing must be VAT-inclusive and valid for at least 60 days; total bid must be priced in Rand.
• Invoices to designated emails; payment within 30 days of invoice delivery.
• 80/20 preference points system: 80 for price, 20 for Specific Goals (BBBEE status level contribution and Locality). Locality points: within Cederberg (10), West Coast (5), Western Cape (2), outside (0).
• BBBEE: submit SANAS-verified certificate or sworn affidavit (MBD 6.1). Submission of MBD 4 or other BBBEE proof required to qualify for points.
• Special SCM provisions apply (GCC/SCC; alternative award for non-performance; no state-serviced bidder restrictions).
