Overview

The Municipality seeks bids for the supply, delivery and installation of a sewer pipeline in Clanwilliam. This open tender targets suitably qualified contractors, with CIDB grading 1CE or higher, capable of trenching, laying 250 mm sewer pipe, connections to existing manholes, testing, commissioning and site reinstatement.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 1CE or higher.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and active tax compliance (TCS PIN or SARS equivalent).

• B-BBEE documentation: SANAS-verified certificate or sworn affidavit; local contribution proof for points; locality documentation.
• Compulsory site clarification meeting: 22 September 2026, 10:00, Clanwilliam Council Chamber.
• Pricing must be VAT-inclusive; price validity and payment terms (payments within 30 days).
• Performance security within 30 days of award; insurance, packing, delivery and obligations as per GCC/SCC.
• Locality proof for preference points (within Cederberg, then West Coast, then Western Cape).
• Compliance with NIP where applicable; no bids from state employees.
