Overview

Procurement of supply and servicing of sanitary units in the Cederberg area, covering 83 heavy‑duty hands‑free 20L pedal sanitary bins with weekly collection and disposal (certificate). Open tender targeted at hygiene/service providers with ability to service Clanwilliam, Citrusdal, Lambert’s Bay, Elands Bay and Graafwater (value over R30 000 up to R300 000, VAT included).

Requirements

• Compulsory registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and VAT/tax compliance; tax clearance for quotations over R30 000.
• Complete and submit all pages of the quotation document; use official forms; no corrections with correction fluid.
• B-BBEE: submit a B-BBEE certificate (SANAS) or sworn affidavit to claim preference points; local points also apply.
• COIDA compliance: provide COIDA good standing/assurance before execution.
• Locality proof if claiming Locality points (municipal account in bidder’s name or lease/affidavit for the address in Cederberg).
• Waste management: provide a National Environmental Management Waste Act (NEMWA) disposal plan; proof of waste disposal registration; monthly disposal statements; disposal certificate; waste to be disposed of at company cost.
• Service scope: weekly servicing of all 83 bins; replacement of faulty bins at no cost; 2 trained personnel per service; monthly service‑registers for reconciliation.
• Invoices payable within 30 days of delivery; invoices to specified email addresses.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 15 October 2026 at 12:00; sealed quotations to be deposited in the bid box at 2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam (see attached files for details).
• Submission method: on official forms only; hard copy submissions; late or faxed quotations not accepted.
• Documents to complete and submit: MBD 1 (Invitation), MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD 6.1 (Preference Points), MBD 7.1 (Contract Form), MBD 8 (Past SCM Practices), MBD 9 (Independent Proposal Determination) and any supporting evidence; include tax/PIN/CSD as applicable (seeContents).
• Pre‑qualification/registrations: CSD registration; SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) where applicable; CSD number if no TCS.
