QN091/2026 PROVISION OF ALL LABOUR, MATERIAL, FITTINGS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A, COMBINATION PUMP, LIGHTING UPGRADES AND ELECTRICAL REPAIRS AT REITZPARK WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL JURISDICTION

Overview

Provision of all labour, material, fittings and equipment for the installation of a combination pump, lighting upgrades and electrical repairs at Reitzpark. Bidders should be electrical/engineering contractors with CIDB 1EB (CIDB 2EB or higher will not be accepted). The contract covers supply/installation of a 7.5 kW KSB Etabloc pump, pump-room distribution, area lighting (solar and conventional LED), and related electrical works within Dawid Kruiper Municipality. Compulsory site briefing and strict compliance with CSD, CIDB, tax, and PPPFA/local-content requirements apply.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1EB; CIDB 2EB or higher will not be accepted.
• Registration and compliance: CSD with National Treasury; Tax compliance status (TCS PIN) or similar; if foreign, follow Part B questionnaires; separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Documentation: complete MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8 and MBD 9; provide municipal account not older than 3 months and not in arrears beyond 90 days (or sworn affidavit/lease if not liable).
• Preferences: PPPFA 80/20 or 90/10; local goals: 20 points within Dawid Kruiper, 14 within ZF MGCAWU region, 10 within RSA; proof of locality required.
• Site briefing: compulsory, 30 Oct 2026 at Reitzpark Upington (gate closes 11:00).
• Compliance: as per GCC, with delivery, warranties, and CoC requirements; prices inclusive of VAT; price validity 90 days.
