Overview

Procurement of renovations to Xhora CHC, Amathole District, for a 3-month contract requiring a CIDB 2GB or higher contractor to carry out JBCC-based works. Eligible bidders are building/construction firms with CIDB 2GB+ (or joint ventures with lead partner meeting 2GB), and the scope includes specialist electrical and roof works as per attached scopes. Requirements

• CIDB grading 2GB or higher (lead partner for JV must meet the requirement; JV rules apply).

• Returnable documents: SBD 1, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Record of Addenda, Resolution for Signatory, Certificate of Authority for JV, Schedule of Subcontractors, proof of CIDB, COIDA/FEM, CSD full report, POPIA consent, three references with PSC/PCE, and proof of address.
• Specialists: electrical contractor (Certificate of Registration as Installation Electrician) and roof installation subcontractor (Certificate of Compliance).
• Specific goals/PPPFA points: 80 for price, 20 for specific goals (PPPFA 2022).
• Clarifications must be requested at least five working days before closing.
• Compliance with POPIA, VAT handling, and contract data as per JBCC 6.2 (June 2024).
