Quotations are invited for the appointment of a suitable service provider to render a two-day training course on mastering engineering and construction contracts for eight Eastern Cape Public Works officials, in East London, including venue, catering, attendance records, and certificates. Bidders should have accredited capability to deliver the specified training, with relevant professional training accreditation and the ability to host in East London.

Requirements

• Training provider must attach proof of accreditation for the named training and for the Advanced ICDL Computer Course, plus CPD recognition from bodies like ECSA and SACPCMP.
• Provider to supply own East London venue, facilities, and catering (morning tea/coffee, muffins, sandwiches, bottled water; full lunch; afternoon tea).
• Submit attendance registers, training results, and issue certificates on completion.
• Complete and submit all specified bid forms (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Annexures A–C) and disclose interests.
• Tax/compliance: tax clearance or SARS PIN (TCS PIN); CSD registration if applicable; VAT registration if VAT vendor.
• Phase One: Administrative compliance; Phase Two: PPPFA-based evaluation (80/20; price vs specific goals); locality points for Buffalo City Metro.
• Delivery: 8 trainees for 2 days; CPD points recognized; programme covers FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, GCC.
