Overview

Procurement of a panel of internal audit service providers to supply internal audit services to PRASA on an as-needed basis for a period of three years. Open to internal audit firms or consortia capable of delivering PRASA’s internal audit function and ad hoc advisory work, with a compulsory briefing and a two-envelope submission process.

Requirements

• The panel is non-exclusive and based on an as-and-when basis for three years.
• Submit in two sealed envelopes: Volume 1 (technical/compliance) and Volume 2 (financial; pricing and specific goals).
• Compulsory briefing attendance (17 July 2026; certificate of attendance required).
• Complete and submit the returnable documents and forms (Form A, Form B, Form C, Form D, Form E, Form F, Form G) and associated annexures; also SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 where applicable.
• Register on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD number; Tax compliance status or SARS PIN/TCS; and comply with tax requirements.
• BBBEE/PPPFA compliance and related preference documentation.
• Complete the Security Screening (Annexure F) and confirm qualifications, personnel, and insurance (professional indemnity) as part of personnel requirements.
• Adhere to confidentiality, non-disclosure, and conflict-of-interest provisions; maintain data protection.
• Pricing guidance is in Annexure F; a Draft Contract is in Annexure D and a Service Level Agreement is in Annexure G.
• PRASA reserves rights to modify, negotiate BAFO, or cancel; bid costs are non-recoverable.
