Overview

Procurement of refurbishment and upgrade works for the EBDEN 66/11kV 2x20MVA Substation (construction tender). Bidders should be qualified construction contractors with CIDB grading 7EP PE or higher and relevant electrical substations refurbishment/upgrade experience. A compulsory site briefing is required.

Requirements

• CIDB grade 7EP PE or higher
• Attendance at the compulsory briefing (06 July 2026, 10:00, 20 Brewery Road, Komani/Queenstown)
• Evaluation: PPPFA 90/10; Price 90; BBBEE 5; Locality 5
• Bid documents cost: R500 (non-refundable); documents available from 29 June 2026
• Submission to Budget and Treasury offices, sealed in an envelope and placed in the bid box

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from Supply Chain Management offices, No. 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown, 29 June 2026 (08h00–16h00) on payment of R500 (cash or EFT to Enoch Mgijima LM)
• Attend the compulsory briefing: 06 July 2026 at 10:00, 20 Brewery Road, Komani
• Prepare and submit sealed bid (clearly labeled with Bid number SCM34/06/2026 and Project Name) to the Bid Box at Budget and Treasury, No. 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown, by 12:00 on 31 July 2026; bids opened publicly
