RE-ADVERTISEMENT: APPOINTMENT OF A PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE PROVISION OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) FOR SDM EMPLOYEES FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS.

Overview

Appointment of a panel of service providers to supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for SDM employees for a period of three years. Bidders should be PPE manufacturers/distributors with proven capability to supply a broad range of PPE (clothing, safety footwear, head/eye/respiratory protection) and branding embroidery to Sekhukhune District Municipality departments. Experience servicing public sector contracts and compliance with OHS Act requirements, NFPA/EN labeling, and SABS certification is preferred; bidders must be tax compliant, registered on SARS/CSD, and able to complete standard bid forms.

Requirements

• Proven PPE supply experience with multi-department delivery
• Certification/display requirements: NFPA/EN labeling proof via manufacture commitment (SABS-approved); SABS-listed products
• Registrations and compliance: valid tax clearance/PIN, CSD registration or equivalent, and ability to submit all required bid forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD7.2, MBD8, MBD9, Schedule 1A/1B, etc) and Pricing Schedule
• Bid validity of 90 days; 3-year contract; compulsory briefing and site/process requirements
