RE-ADVERTISEMENT: APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND OFFLOADING OF DISTRIBUTION TERMINAL STEEL POLES TO CITY OF TSHWANE STORES. The City of Tshwane seeks a supplier to provide 11m distribution terminal poles (grade S355W, per SANS 10225) with samples required prior delivery. Eligible bidders must be registered on CSD with a valid CSD number and tax clearance, have engineering design certified by an ECSA-registered engineer, and complete required bid documentation.

Requirements

• Compulsory documentation: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 completed in black ink with authorized signatures.
• Tax compliance: SARS TCS PIN or CSD registration; ensure tax status prior to award.
• CSD registration: valid CSD number; primary bidder and any JV/consortium parties.
• Financials: Audited annual financial statements for the last three years (or evidence if not applicable).
• Technical: Type test reports/certificates; pole design certified by a registered professional structural engineer; Schedule A & B completed in ink; samples of poles required before delivery.
• Product specifications: Pole must meet SANS 10225, SANS 657-1, SANS 10044, SANS 121; minimum mass 150 kg; minimum service life 50 years.
• Preferences: compliance with 80/20 preference system and proof for specific goals (BBBEE, local participation, etc.).
