Overview

This tender seeks the appointment of an engineering consulting firm to design review, contract administration and site supervision for the construction of a bulk water line, bulk sewer line and a 20ML reservoir in Winterveldt Ext 3 and 4 for six months. Requirements

• Mandatory personnel:
  • Project Leader (BSc/BTech Civil, ECSA registered, ≥5 years in reservoir design)
  • Civil Engineer (BSc/BTech, ECSA registered, ≥5 years)
  • Structural Engineer (BSc/BTech, ECSA registered, ≥5 years)
  • Engineer’s Representative (BSc/BTech, ECSA registered, ≥3 years)
• Company must confirm full-time employed staff and submit CVs plus professional registrations (RD.A.8/RD.A.10 references).
• Minimum 70-point functionality threshold across: reservoir experience (40), bulkwater/water/sewer reticulation experience (20), and staff experience (40); with documented project letters (quotations/documents attached).
• Insurance and compliance: Professional Indemnity Insurance; tax compliance status; BBBEE verification (SANAS/IRBA) and vendor registration with City of Tshwane; compliance with National Treasury instructions.
• Returnable documents and signing requirements apply; non-submission may render tender non-responsive (refer to Part T2).
