Overview

RE-ADVERTISEMENT: SUPPLY AND DELIVER ITEMS TO SUPPORT SMME’S is a RFQ to supply a broad list of equipment and related items to support SMMEs. Accredited service providers may bid; bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), provide CK registration, SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) pin, certified IDs for directors, and attach a company profile. The evaluation uses PPPFA 80/20, with BBBEE and locality considerations. Submission is in the Budget and Treasury Office tender box.

Requirements

• CK registration document and CSD registration
• SARS Tax Compliance Status pin (or proof)
• Certified copies of directors’ IDs (within 3 months validity)
• Comprehensive joint venture/consortium agreements if applicable
• Company profile with proven experience
• Completion of tender forms (Form of Offer, declarations) and avoidance of price alterations (sign all changes)
• No tipex; bids remain valid for 90 days
• Local content and BBBEE requirements apply (MBD6.1, MBD6.2) under PPPFA 80/20; verify B-BBEE status and local content declarations
• The Municipality reserves the right to accept part/none of bids and to disqualify non-compliant bidders

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 21 September 2026 at 12:00 (closing)
• Submission method: sealed envelope to the Bid Box, Budget and Treasury Office, 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown; no electronic submissions accepted (RFQ2008)
• Documents to submit: official bid forms and costing schedule (MBD1–MBD9 where applicable), Form of Offer, declaration of interest, BBBEE documents, and pricing schedule (costing schedule) as required (see MBD forms in attached documents)
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: SARS TCS/PIN, CSD, CK, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and municipal accounts where required
• Briefing/site: No formal site inspection; bidders responsible for understanding requirements (see documents)
